This page shows the access list for the 2012/2013 season of the Champions League and the Europa League. In this list the sequence of the countries is determined by the UEFA Country Ranking 2011. See UEFA European Cup Football for more information.

The title holder Atlético Madrid already qualified for at least the 4th qualifying round of the Europa League. This implies that the cup winner (or 1st league entrant) of the 16th country on the ranking list (Switzerland) has direct access to the 4th qualifying round, the cup winner of the 19th country on the ranking list (Austria) has direct access to the 3rd qualifying round, and the cup winners of the 33th and 34th countries on the ranking list (Moldova and Lithuania ) have direct access to the 2nd qualifying round of the Europa League.

If Barcelona wins the Spanish cup then Atlético Madrid qualifies by domestic league position for the group stage of the Europa League. In that case the cup winner of 7th country on the ranking list (Rubin Kazan, Russia) has direct access to the group stage of the Europa League.
